How we write
Fact-based only. Primary sources where possible. If we haven't verified it, we say so. No marketing language. No fake enthusiasm for things that don't deserve it.
On affiliate links
We use affiliate links where available. If you buy through a link, we get a small cut. That's on every page, clearly. It doesn't change what we write, we cover every gotcha we find.
The verdict system
Every review ends with Worth It, Skip It, or Depends, with a specific reason. “Depends” means “here are the exact conditions under which it's worth it.” Never a dodge.
